PTA
We rely heavily on the Society for extra money and through their efforts we have been able to buy various reading series, tools and textbooks. Annually a Christmas Fair, Barbecue and a range of other activities are organized. Without the support of the Parent Teacher Association the school would be very short of resources. All parents are welcome to join the Committee and the support given to the organized activities is greatly appreciated. We believe the school can’t exist as a unit on its own and that we should contribute to the Community in which we exist. We take firm steps towards this by encouraging pupils to distribute gifts from the thanksgiving service to the elderly, sponsoring local charities, inviting members of the community to school activities and encourage local use of school facilities. We make an effort to raise money for various charities. Regular visits are arranged to local companies to enrich the children’s curriculum and develop enterprise with the children.
